Behind-the-Wheel-Greg Tikalsky
Driver's Ed -
Winter/Spring 2023
Minnesota law requires six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction to qualify a student to take their Driver’s License test. Behind-the-Wheel sessions typically meet three to four times, in order to complete the six hours needed for each student driver in the car. Behind-the-Wheel sessions are offered April through November, weather permitting, with the majority of sessions in the summer months.
Please Note: It is recommend that students have 20 hours supervised driving time with parent/guardian before beginning behind the wheel.

Greg Tikalsky
I have been teaching Social Studies at New Prague High School for 30 years. My wife Tammi and I have four children (Megan, Jonathan, Sylvie and Jarek) and three grandchildren. My interest in driver's education developed after a personal tragedy that inspired me to help make Minnesota's roads safer. As an instructor, I'll make even more of an impact on the lives of our future driver's and all Minnesotans who they share the road with.
