Kids in the Kitchen: Bubble TeaKids in the KitchenTweens, teens and adults will enjoy this class and making your own bubble tea creations. What is it? Originating from Taiwan, and in it is basic form, this drink consists of sweetened black tea, milk, ice, and chewy tapioca pearls, all shaken together and served with a fat straw to accommodate the marbles of tapioca that cluster at the bottom of the cup. The shake introduces the milk bubbles and the pearls add to the beauty of this high end, popular drink. Variations can include Classic, Taro, Brown Sugar, Fruit filled, and many more. This hands-on class will introduce you to how to make this drink at home, including how to make the tapioca pearls and adjust it to your personal taste.Winter/Spring 2023

NEW DATES-New Prague Youth Wrestling - Option 4WrestlingThis is the same as option 3 but with 10 more practices. The additional practice may be held in New Prague, in surrounding areas, and/or may be a combination of the two. This is a great option for kids who are not getting additional practice at an outside club/location. If the wrestler is attending option 4 or option 3 with an additional out of town practice we expect them to attend at least 2 national tournaments but are encouraged to attend more. Wrestlers will be required to participate in a fundraiser and sell 35 items OR purchase warm-ups at an additional cost of $165. This group will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, some Friday sessions will be added. *If a 6th grader is registered for the MS season they can register for option 4 for $50 and can make as many Tu/Th/F practices as possible.Winter/Spring 2023

Practices will be held twice a week for one hour in duration. These practices are also open to watch. The suggested age/grade for this session is kindergarten (if they already have some experience), first grade, and beginner second graders. During this session we encourage kids to participate in local tournaments selected by the coaches. The competition is not required but highly recommended. Entry fees to select tournaments are covered by the wrestling club. If you missed the first session and are looking to get into the sport, here is another opportunity as well. Practices will pick up following winter break from school and will continue once a week for 45 minutes in length. During this session we encourage kids to participate in local tournaments selected by the coaches. The competition is not required but highly recommended. Entry fees to select tournaments are covered by the wrestling club. Warm ups will not be available by the start of this session. New Prague Youth Wrestling - Option 3WrestlingThis is our competition group that is expected to travel and compete on a regular basis throughout the season. The practices will be closed to non coaches and wrestlers and will be more intense in nature. Practices are held two times a week for an hour and a half each practice. The suggested age/grade group is 1-6. If a wrestler is in the 3rd-6th grade level and just starting out, this is the right option for them. However, if you are new to the sport in grades k-2 you should look into option 2 as a starting point. This option may be split into two sessions/locations if the numbers call for it. We will provide the ski equipment with no additional fee for participants. We will meet at the Ney Nature Center education building on Thursdays, from 4:00-5:30pm beginning in January. If there is a cancellation due to weather, lack of sow, or anything else we will let you know as soon as possible via email and/or phone. Participants must be dressed in layers and prepared for the weather as we will be outside for the entire lesson time.
