Or maybe you listen to your favorite audiobooks, commercials, or cartoon characters and think, “I could do that!” Want to earn income using your talents from the comfort of your home? If so, then you could have what it takes to begin working as a professional Voiceover Artist. Explore the voiceover industry with your instructor, a professional, working voice actor from the voice acting training company, Voices For All, in a one-on-one, personalized, video chat setting. Discover the current trends in the industry and how easy and affordable it can be to learn, set up and work from home. In this one-time, 90-minute, introductory class, you’ll also learn about the different types of voiceovers and the tools you’ll need to find success. Your instructor will record you as you read a real script, then offer you some coaching so you can improve your delivery. Your instructor will take notes on your performance and create a professional voiceover evaluation delivered to you in a follow up call. After the class, you will have the knowledge necessary to help you decide if this is something you’d like to pursue. You owe it to yourself to finally explore the possibilities of this fun and rewarding field! Participants will leave with a better understanding and get some time testing out their driving skills on a few different types of RC Cars. Participants can use RC Cars provided or their own on approval. This is a great activity for kids and adults!
  • T-shirt/Jersey Quilt

    This is a class for anyone – no quilting experience needed but must have access to a sewing machine and be able to use it. T-shirt quilts are a fabulous way of preserving special memories from your favorite vacation, sports, school years, plays, etc. They make great gifts for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. This class walks you through the steps needed to create and design a 72" X 90" keepsake t-shirt quilt using 20 of your favorite t-shirts, sweatshirts or jerseys. Materials to bring to first week of class - 20 t-shirts, washed using no fabric softener or dryer sheets, scissors & rotary cutter if you have one. Class fee includes $25 of interfacing for the back of the t-shirts. Additional supplies such as fabric for sashing, borders and binding can be purchased from instructor or on your own. Ten yards of fabric is required to complete this quilt. Specific yardage as well as ways to quilt the top will be discussed at the first class. Down Under Quilting offers class participants a special of $95 for machine quilting your t-shirt quilt. You do not need to bring your sewing machine to the first class.
