New Prague Area Community Education

This is a great way to jump start the 5th grade band experience. During Band Jump Start, incoming 5th grade band students will learn how to put together and take apart their instrument safely, how to produce their first musical sound on their instrument, and how to read music. By the end of the week, students will be able to play their first song! While participation is not required, all incoming 5th grade band instrumentalists are encouraged to attend. During Pop Band students will rehearse and perform music from movies like Star Wars, Harry Potter and other Disney favorites along with popular music by artists like the Journey, Panic! At the Disco, and Bruno Mars. This is sure to be a fun way to make music with friends during the summer!
