    Entering Grades 1-12 in Fall 2024 (prior wrestling experience is a prerequisite) If you want to be the best at anything, you need to put in more time and work harder than your opponents. This clinic, run by the current NPHS wrestling staff and current/former Trojan wrestlers, focuses on technique from all positions of wrestling. The intensity will be on the higher end with plenty of opportunity for fun! This is a great way to stay on the mat while also participating in other sports. The clinic will provide you the opportunity to learn and drill the techniques used by the NP Wrestling Program from the bottom up.     Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People (Online)

    Have you ever wanted to learn the guitar but simply find it difficult to find the time? In just a few hours you can learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment, and you won’t have to take private lessons to do it. This crash course will teach you some basic chords and get you playing along with your favorite songs right away. Since this class is being held online with ZOOM, you will be able to sit at home with your guitar and take this class without any pressure at all. And since the class includes an online book and online follow-up video lessons, you will be able to continue your practice and study on your own. Since this class is being held online with ZOOM you will be able to sit at your piano or keyboard at home and take this course with no pressure at all. And since this course includes an online book and online follow up video lessons, you will be able to continue your practice and study on your own. An optional periodic online question and answer session is also included. A recording of the class is included as well. The course is partly lecture/demonstration and partly hands on instruction. Topics include: How chords work in a song How to get more out of sheet music by reading less of it How to form the three main types of chords How to handle different keys and time signatures How to avoid “counting” How to simplify over 12,000 complex chords

    Intro to Canning & Home Garden Preservation

    With the growing season starting up, it is time to learn the basics of home garden preservation. Homemade jams, spicy salsas, fresh beans, fermented cabbage and more can all be enjoyed during the cold winter months. Home canning of fresh food provides a number of benefits, including: lower grocery bills, sustainable lifestyles, and better nutrition through control of the ingredients that go into your food. Once you know the basics, home canning and preservation is really quite easy. This class will introduce you to the tools/equipment, food safety, and produce/ingredient selection needed to successfully preserve this season and for many years to come.

    Ninjas develop strength and agility during these 4 weeklong courses by learning different styles and techniques to master all obstacles! We have warped walls, angled steps, salmon ladders, cliff hangers, tilted ladders; all Ninja inspired obstacles! Increase flexibility, coordination, and self-esteem that can be transferred into ninja levels testing or enhance other athletic performances. All classes are coached by an experienced Ninja Trainer.

    Introduction to Archery

    In this two-hour session, beginner archers will learn the basics of shooting and safety while practicing and competing in a fun shooting game to improve accuracy. Must wear closed-toed shoes. Equipment is provided. Youth ages 8-10 need an adult present for the duration of the session.

    Introduction to Voiceovers (Online)

    Adults 18 and up “Wow, you have a great voice!” Have you heard that more times than you can count? Or maybe you listen to your favorite audiobooks, commercials, or cartoon characters and think, “I could do that!” Want to earn income using your talents from the comfort of your home? If so, then you could have what it takes to begin working as a professional Voiceover Artist. Explore the voiceover industry with your instructor, a professional, working voice actor from the voice acting training company, Voices For All, in a one-on-one, personalized, video chat setting. Discover the current trends in the industry and how easy and affordable it can be to learn, set up and work from home. In this one-time, 90-minute, introductory class, you’ll also learn about the different types of voiceovers and the tools you’ll need to find success. Your instructor will record you as you read a real script, then offer you some coaching so you can improve your delivery. Your instructor will take notes on your performance and create a professional voiceover evaluation delivered to you in a follow up call. After the class, you will have the knowledge necessary to help you decide if this is something you’d like to pursue. You owe it to yourself to finally explore the possibilities of this fun and rewarding field! Upon registration you will be contacted by VFA to schedule your class for a day and time of your convenience.
  • Jr. Trojans Hockey

    Is your child interested in hockey, but you are not sure where to start? Or maybe you're a family member who loves the sport but are hesitant to make a full commitment. The Junior Trojans program is designed to introduce girls and boys ages 4-8 to skating and basic hockey skills. Each sessions will include an off-ice and on-ice instructional portion. Participants are required to wear a bike/helmet on ice. Skate rental will be available. Hockey sticks and gear and not required, but are welcomed. We will have a limited amount of equipment to try.

  • Let's Probate an Actual Minnesota Estate (Online)

    In this class, we will do an in-depth walkthrough of an actual Minnesota Probate Estate from the filing of the application for probate to the final accounts - and all the steps in between. Class participants will learn the entire process with current forms, court and filing requirements, accounting and procedural steps, as well as the procedures for the sale and distribution of estate assets. We will also discuss the roles, responsibilities, and liabilities of a person who is appointed as the executor/personal representative. The class will be filled with real-life examples and solutions to the multitude of issues involving a typical (or not typical) Minnesota probate estate. This class encourages questions: Is there a “reading of the will”? What about personal items? Does the executor get paid? What about estate bills and creditors? We will provide the answers!

    Girls and Boys Entering Grades K-4 in Fall 2024 Join New Prague volleyball coaches for an all-skills camp focusing on basic skills of volleyball and teamwork, while having some fun and learning about the rules of volleyball! Age-appropriate balls and net heights are used to allow the campers a successful and fun experience! Please register by May 15 to be guaranteed a camp t-shirt.
