During this level, swimmers will practice the crawl stroke on the front with breathing as well and be introduced to the crawl stroke on the back. The advancement goals for this level are 30 ft of crawl stroke with at least 4 correct breaths. To register for this level, children must be able to do 15 ft of side-glide kicking as well as 15 ft of crawl stroke on the front with no breathing. Goggles are highly suggested at level 5 and above. Swimmers with long hair are required to wear a swim cap beginning in level 5 to keep their hair out of their face while learning rhythmic breathing. New Prague Aquatics and Community Education utilizes the SwimAmerica program. SwimAmerica is a state-of-the-art, learn to swim program developed by the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) that is goal driven and technique oriented. SwimAmerica programs are operated by certified swim coaches who have achieved a minimum of ASCA Level II Coaching Certification. SwimAmerica is the only swim program endorsed by the American Swimming Coaches Association, the most prestigious coaches association in the world.REFUND POLICY: Full refunds are given when Community Education cancels a class. Refunds (less a $5 cancellation fee) will be issued when a participant cancels a registration by 4:00 pm, five (5) business days prior to the first day of class.
