Behind-the-Wheel WaitlistDriver's EdDon't see a time/date that works for you? Register for this waitlist and an instructor will connect with you to arrange a driving schedule. Minnesota law requires six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction to qualify a student to take their Driver’s License test. Behind-the-Wheel sessions typically meet three to four times, in order to complete the six hours needed for each student driver in the car (New Prague takes two students in a car at a time). Behind-the-Wheel sessions are offered year round, weather permitting, with the majority of sessions in the summer months. The health and safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance. It is imperative that students/instructors with signs of a fever, coughing, sore throat, and/or shortness of breath, please stay home. We will reschedule your session(s). Our cars are equipped with Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray and disposable gloves. Following CDC and MN Department of Health recommendations, students and instructors are strongly encouraged to wear a mask for the safety of those in the car. We recommend thorough hand washing before and after driving sessions. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at (952)758-1734.Summer 2022
