If you are a girl and are interested in trying out the sport of wrestling, here is your chance! Girl's wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. The suggested age/grade for this session is kindergarten and up (PreK should join the Option One Session as co-ed). Warm-ups are not required for this level. If a wrestler would like to add an additional practice per week, they can attend the option 4 Friday practice at the high school. This is a separate registration. This one-hour co-ed practice will be focused on strength, conditioning, agility and live wrestling. Note: Girls 1 is for those in K-3rd grade, except 3rd year wrestlers. Girls 2 is for those in 4th-8th grade or those 3rd year and beyond. Girls 2 would do fundraising and/or purchase warmups. Dates, Times, and Location is subject to adjustments. Any changes will be communicated by coaches. Mandatory Parent Meeting: Wednesday, October 30th at New Prague High School Location and time TBD. After the meeting we will break out after about 30 minutes to meet separately with Girls 1, Option 1 & 2 parents.

Entering Grades 1-12 in Fall 2024 (prior wrestling experience is a prerequisite) If you want to be the best at anything, you need to put in more time and work harder than your opponents. This clinic, run by the current NPHS wrestling staff and current/former Trojan wrestlers, focuses on technique from all positions of wrestling. The intensity will be on the higher end with plenty of opportunity for fun! This is a great way to stay on the mat while also participating in other sports. The clinic will provide you the opportunity to learn and drill the techniques used by the NP Wrestling Program from the bottom up.
