    Youth Entering Grades 1-6 in Fall 2024 Campers will learn a variety of skills in all facets of the game of football as well as how to commit to keeping an active body and mind. Campers will be separated into mini-camps by age level and will learn from experienced coaches including the Trojan Varsity Staff. Campers will also be introduced to Trojan Offensive and Defensive Schemes. The second part of each day will consist of flag football competitions where campers will put newly learned skills to use.     Youth Entering Grades 7-8 in Fall 2024 This camp is designed for those individuals' entering 7th and 8th grade in the Fall of 2024. The camp will focus on individual position technique and terminology used by the Trojan Football Program. Campers will also be installing offensive and defensive schemes which will be used to prepare them for Middle School Football in the fall.
  • 7th & 8th Grade Football

    Youth Entering Grades 7th & 8th in Fall 2024 New Prague Youth Football will take on some changes this fall as we continue to grow all levels of New Prague Football. This upcoming fall, our 7th and 8th grade levels will enter The Southwest Metro Football League in which we will compete with and play games against surrounding communities. This is a great opportunity for our program and an adjustment that we are excited about rolling out in 2023! Practice and game schedules will be provided around August 10th. It is expected to follow the schedule below. (Schedule is subject to change and any changes would be provided to families) Practices Begin the week of August 12th Held three- four days per week on average run 1.5 hours in length start times between 5:30 & 6:00pm Games Begin the week of August 26th Held on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays Part of the Southwest Metro Football League- playing local communities such as Prior Lake, Waconia, Eden Prairie and others Register by July 15th, 2024.. After this date your registration may be placed on a waiting list until we can be sure we have enough equipment and coaches.

    Introduction to Archery

    In this two-hour session, beginner archers will learn the basics of shooting and safety while practicing and competing in a fun shooting game to improve accuracy. Must wear closed-toed shoes. Equipment is provided. Youth ages 8-10 need an adult present for the duration of the session.

Athletes benefit from training in agility, power, perseverance, and resilience; attributes that all athletes strive to improve. Our Conquer Rec Team is designed for youth, ages 6-13 of all experience levels. Our Rec Team will practice on real obstacles inspired by the tv show such as warped walls, salmon ladders, tilting ladders and so much more during their weekly practice. Rec Team members will learn the styles and techniques to develop their Ninja Skills with over 40 different obstacles! This 8 week long Rec Team consists of 6 practices and 2 competitions (week 4 and week 8).

    Entering Grades Pre-K-12 in Fall 2024 Introduction to wrestling to youth. Coaches will teach basic skills, methods, and strategies to become a successful competitor. Wear a t-shirt, shorts and gym shoes, wrestlers will get a camp t-shirt. Falcon Ridge Gym will be used a secondary site if space is full in the NPHS Wrestling Room. Volunteer Coaches The success of our recreational league is dependent upon volunteer coaches, whether you have soccer knowledge or not, we can use your help! Parent coaches will be provided with weekly drills and plans along with having the support of a Site Supervisor at each location to answer questions.     DASH Sports Summer Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Flag Football, and Baseball. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports so athletes will come out of camp with a great understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear athletic clothing/shoes and sunscreen. Bring a water bottle, snack, and a baseball glove. This is a great camp that produces well rounded athletes. Balls and other equipment are all provided.

    DASH Sports Summer Lacrosse camps provide participants a no-contact introductory experience to the game. Athletes will learn basic lacrosse fundamentals including stick handling, cradling, passing, and shooting all in a fun, non-checking environment. This is a non-contact camp, helmets, gloves, and mouthguards are not required, but can be brought with and worn. Sticks and safety lacrosse balls are provided. Participants should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and snack.

    NP Trojan Morning Baseball Camp

    Entering Grades PreK-5th Grade in Fall 2024 Trojan Morning Baseball Camp, run by the New Prague Trojan High School coaching staff and players, is a great introduction to the game of baseball. Participants get individual and small group instruction in the following: warm-up/stretching, throwing mechanics, hitting mechanics, pitching mechanics, base running, and fielding fundamentals. In addition to basic fundamentals, players will play T-Ball and coach pitch games throughout the four weeks of the program.     Trojan Rec Soccer League

    The game of soccer can benefit players in many ways. It helps children develop agility, speed and stamina, in addition to teaching the importance of teamwork. This sport can play an important part in your child’s physical and social development. Trojan Rec Soccer is a summer recreational program for children ages 4 through entering grade 5 and is offered in New Prague and Elko New Market through New Prague Area Community Education. This program benefits young players as they learn the fundamentals needed to play soccer, gain skills to succeed, develop self-confidence and have fun with their friends. For questions, please contact Community Education at 952-758-1734. REMINDER: Registration for youth sports will close two weeks prior to the session start date to allow enough time for program administration such as arranging teams, ordering jerseys or apparel, distributing equipment and more. This deadline is firm. Any registrations received after the cutoff will be placed on a waitlist and will be added if/when they are able to be accommodated.

    NP Girls Soccer Camp Grades 7-12

    Girls entering Grades 7-12 in Fall 2024 Get a jump on the upcoming soccer season and join New Prague's Girls' Soccer Coaching Staff for a week of soccer training. Individual skills will be emphasized while improving team concepts. The staff's vision on playing the game will be introduced in a fun, yet competitive atmosphere. Come willing to work hard and improve your game.

    Ninjas develop strength and agility during these 4 weeklong courses by learning different styles and techniques to master all obstacles! We have warped walls, angled steps, salmon ladders, cliff hangers, tilted ladders; all Ninja inspired obstacles! Increase flexibility, coordination, and self-esteem that can be transferred into ninja levels testing or enhance other athletic performances. All classes are coached by an experienced Ninja Trainer.

    DASH Sports Jr. NBA basketball skills camps provide players a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camps end with scrimmages/games on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle. Balls are provided. This camp includes a customized Jr. NBA jersey. Players will select their favorite NBA Team when registering as well as their name and number they'd like on their jersey.

    Youth Entering Grades 5th & 6th in Fall 2024 Join your friends as we take the game of football one step further for this age group by putting on the pads and playing teams in other communities. This is a program where participants learn and practice the fundamentals of football as they experience the New Prague Trojan Football team concepts, tradition and drills. All necessary safety equipment (helmet, pads, etc.) is provided for each player. Baseball or soccer cleats are recommended. Practice and game schedules will be provided around August 10th. Golf Squad offers this in a before or after school enrichment program. The program is completely administered by Golf Squad. It has participation from schools all across the United States where students are being offered the opportunity to learn directly from golf industry professionals. ALL classes are only taught by golf industry professionals, We are able to set up ANYWHERE as we use cushioned hitting mats and limited flight cork balls that have been approved for schools. We provide EVERYTHING the students will require to successfully complete the program at your school, including clubs, hitting mats, putting mats, limited flight/soft balls, etc. The only thing that the schools need to do is provide a space (indoors or outside) and spread the word about the program's availability. Parental support has been remarkable, as this program is completely parent funded!
