    1st/2nd Grade Baseball/Softball

    Boys and Girls Completing Grade 1 and Grade 2 The focus for this group is on fostering an interest in the game and developing basic skills through a fun, positive, and encouraging approach. Participants will enjoy: Continued emphasis on basic fundamentals and skill development in hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, and base running Advanced t-ball/coach pitch rules to teach the game of baseball and enhance competition Small group practice stations at each session An emphasis on team defensive and offensive skills Coaches will pitch to their team, but tees may be used early in the season for kids who need it. Want to enrich your child's experience? Become a COACH! No baseball/softball experience necessary. As a token of our appreciation a $25 code (per family) for a future Community Education class will be given to each team volunteer at the end of the session. Register by April 27th to guarantee t-shirt.

    Age 4 Rookie T-Ball

    Must be Age 4 by June 1 As Rookies, our youngest T-Ball players will enjoy. Fun and fundamentals Introduction to team play Basic skill development in hitting, fielding, throwing. Small group interaction Small team games that introduce the rules of the game Coaches are necessary in order for our Rookie program to be successful.     DASH Sports: T-ball Tykes

    Looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and base running. The final few days of classes are ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided. Parent participation is recommended as needed.

    Kindergarten Baseball/Softball

    Boys and Girls, Age 5 by June 1 or Currently in Kindergarten In this youth baseball experience players will: Receive basic instruction in hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, and base running skills for beginning players Be introduced to baseball rules and team play Benefit from small group practice stations which concentrate on key skills Play using modified rules for maximum player involvement Want to enrich your child's experience?     NP Trojan Morning Baseball Camp

    Entering Grades PreK-5th Grade in Fall 2024 Trojan Morning Baseball Camp, run by the New Prague Trojan High School coaching staff and players, is a great introduction to the game of baseball. Participants get individual and small group instruction in the following: warm-up/stretching, throwing mechanics, hitting mechanics, pitching mechanics, base running, and fielding fundamentals. In addition to basic fundamentals, players will play T-Ball and coach pitch games throughout the four weeks of the program.
